Citi Doesn't Expect Competing Bids for Websense, Maintains Neutral

With Websense WBSN shares up nearly 30 percent Monday afternoon following news of a deal with Vista Equity Partners, a number of analysts are commenting. Citi's Walter Pritchard believes Websense will not likely see any competing bids. The analyst pointed at takeover speculation dating back to 2011 which never materialized until now. Pritchard noted F5 FFIV and Symantec SYMC had previously been discussed as possible buyers. Citi maintains a Neutral rating on shares of Websense. The stock last traded at $24.74.
