Monroe Muffler Being Seen as Beneficiary from Winter Wrath

The firm Northcoast Research believes that Monroe Muffler MNRO will deliver better-than-expected 4Q earnings results. Clearly the company agrees, raising it's 4Q EPS estimates to $0.28, from $0.04, with the Street expecting an EPS of around $0.25. The firm went on to note that harsh winter storms battered motor vehicles, forcing consumers to purchase replacement parts. The second week of February was particularly busy, with the firm citing tax returns being one of the driving factors for the increase in foot traffic. MNRO is currently up ~2.25 percent in Thursday's trading session.
