In a report published Wednesday, Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu reiterated a Neutral rating on Google GOOG.
In the report, Wu noted, “A frequent question we have been getting from investors is our take on the Samsung partnership. In sum, we don't see it escalating into an all-out war like with AAPL, but we do think it gets more competitive. Samsung clearly wants to extend its technology advantage beyond semiconductors and hardware. For its recent Galaxy S4 launch, Samsung touted many in-house software features. We believe GOOG will likely maintain an upper hand but Samsung's software and internet ambitions are worth watching.”
Google closed on Tuesday at $813.04.
