In a research report published earlier today by Wedbush, Jamba Inc.'s
JMBA
recent 4Q beat was thanks to favorable weather and new product offerings. According to Wedbush, “Q4 results ahead of expectations on pickup in traffic. Q4 revenues of $44 million exceeded our $39 million estimate as Jamba saw a 4.1% increase in traffic during the quarter, driven by warm winter weather and recent product introductions, such as oatmeal, breakfast wraps, frozen yogurt, and smoothies. The increase in traffic follows nearly three years of quarterly declines and is a sharp sequential improvement from a 2.1% decrease in Q3.” Wedbush maintains its Outperform rating and $2.50 PT on Jamba, which is currently trading at $1.98.
