According to a research report published today, Evercore Partners increased Lionsgate Entertainment Corp.'s LGF PT from $10.50 to $14 based on anticipation of an accelerated pay-down of the Summit debt.
In the report, Evercore Partners commented, “We have raised our valuation on the Hunger Games franchise to $410 million and believe the market is now pricing in a $200 million domestic box office for the film. We continue to anticipate a $100 million opening weekend assuming $25,000 per screen on roughly 4,000 screens.”
Evercore Partners maintains its Overweight rating on Lionsgate, which closed Friday at $11.84.
