Goldman Sachs Suggests Buying Calls on United Technologies Corporation (UTX)

Goldman Sachs is out with a research note this morning, where it suggests that traders buy calls on United Technologies Corporation UTX ahead of its analyst day.

Goldman Sachs multi-industry analyst, Terry Darling, is positive into the upcoming UTX analyst day. He expects management to reinforce his positive long-term outlook and sees potential for a modest raise to 2011 EPS guidance.

He rates UTX Buy with 14% upside to his 12-month price target of $94 and is above consensus for 2011 EPS ($5.40 vs. $5.34).

Goldman suggests buying the April $85.00 call for $1.32.
