Citi provided color on Chesapeake Energy CHK in a research report published today.
In the report, Citi states, "CHK reported adjusted, recurring Q4'10 EPS/CFPS of $0.70/$1.24, vs. our $0.68/$1.42 and Street consensus of $0.64/$1.52. Earnings were roughly in line with our estimate as below-forecast realizations on both liquids and natural gas were offset by lower than expected operating costs. The cash flow miss was primarily associated with much higher than expected capitalized interest."
Shares of Chesapeake Energy were trading at $32.36 at the time of posting, up 1.09% from Tuesday's market close.
