According to a report released by Dahlman Rose & Co., Knight Transportation, Inc. KNX reported 3Q10 EPS of $0.20, “missing our and consensus estimates of $0.23 and $0.21, respectively.” Despite the solid performance, Knight became the third truckload carrier after JB Hunt and Werner to note slower freight demand in 3Q10.
“The results, however, were 25% higher than 3Q09 EPS of $0.16,” Dahlman Rose & Co. writes. “Revenue grew 10.5% y/y to come in at $191.3 million, below our estimate of $199.5 million and higher than consensus estimate of $189.2 million.”
Knight Transportation currently trades for $17.89.
