4 Stocks Moving On Friday's After-Hours

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation Tangible Equity Units AEUA shares were trading up about 3.4 percent on Friday’s after-hours session.

The surge seemed like the continuation of the 4.51 percent gain seen during the day, driven by rising oil prices. WTI Crude Oil rose 8.7 percent to $32.10 per barrel on Friday, while Brent Crude Oil spiked 9.47 percent to $32.02.

Shares of HP Inc HPQ gained about 3.5 percent since the bell rang, recuperating the ground lost (1.41 percent) during the day as news about declining PC shipments in the fourth quarter of 2015 transcended.

On the other hand, HollyFrontier Corp HFC tumbled roughly 5 percent since the market closed, giving up some of the gains (9.38 percent) registered during the regular trading session. Similar to Anadarko’s case, the rise in HollyFrontier’s stock was driven by the surging oil prices.

Legg Mason Inc LM was also down, almost 5 percent, in after-hours trading.

The stock had already lost 1.76 percent during the day, after reporting its quarterly results. The company delivered a GAAP net loss of $(1.31). However, adjusted EPS came in at $1.45, versus consensus of $0.70.
