ABM Rebrands UK Businesses to Realign Growth Impetus

Leading provider of facility solutions ABM Industries Incorporated ABM recently rebranded its businesses in the U.K. under the corporate brand name to realign the brand identity of its subsidiaries and focus on holistic growth. These included the rebranding of GBM Support Services Group Limited and its Eclipse and CGS businesses under the ABM brand.

Headquartered in London, GBM is a premier provider of cleaning, security, building maintenance, waste and facilities management services for various retail, leisure, public sector, and commercial outlets across the U.K. Leveraging the diversified service offerings of GBM, ABM has been able to gain a significant footprint in the country over the past few months.

By integrating the various GBM businesses in the U.K. under the corporate name and logo, ABM now intends to capitalize on the inherent strengths of the respective units and give a focused approach to its overseas employees. At the same time, the rebranding initiative will offer its overseas clients the promise and commitment of the global ABM brand.     

ABM has developed a platform to deliver an end-to-end service model to its clients by realigning its operational structure to an on-site, mobile and on-demand market based structure. This realignment has improved its long-term growth prospects and provides higher margin opportunities by enabling it to better deliver end-to-end services to its clients across urban, suburban and rural areas. The company further expects to extend its global footprint and strengthen its position in existing markets through both inorganic and organic growth across the industry verticals.

ABM provides engineering, janitorial, parking, and security services to commercial, industrial, institutional, and retail facilities across the globe. The company serves over 370 clients throughout the U.K., including over 200 commercial office locations, approximately 50 centers and retail parks, 15 airports and approximately 1 million square feet of public and entertainment venue space.
