Citi exec accused of inside job

A former vice president is suspected of embezzling $19.2 mil from Citigroup (C) in a series of secret money transfers. From May 2009 to Dec. 2010, Gary Foster illegally transferred Citi cash into his private account at another bank, federal prosecutors said, calling it the "ultimate inside job." He faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison. The transfers weren't detected until a recent internal audit. Citi shares rose 1% to 39.99.
