Two days ago, ReadWriteWeb reported that the world's most popular micro-blogging service, Twitter, has surpassed 200 million users worldwide. A company representative also stated that 70% of traffic to Twitter comes from outside the U.S. To give people an idea, the rep claimed 25% of tweets come from Japan alone.
Just last month, Twitter confirmed that it had 175 million registered users. Twitter was first founded in the summer of 2006 and since then, has become one of the most popular sites on the Internet.
