MacRumors is claiming that they've been sent the images below from an anonymous reader. The images appear to show off a next-generation iPod touch, carrying a label of “DVT-1,” and sporting a capacitive home button and one volume button. It's unclear how legit these pictures are as each of these “features” can easily be faked using existing shots.
Earlier this year, a report came out claiming that the next iPhone and iPad would feature no home button, something that has been in every single iOS device since 2007. At the time, the report gained a lot of steam, but Apple sure enough announced the iPad 2 in March, featuring a home button.
