AT&T offering 1000 free minutes to iPhone users

Following the release of the Verizon iPhone to the general public yesterday, AT&T began sending out text messages to iPhone owners on their network, offering them 1000 free minutes. If you haven't received a text message, simply text “yes” (no quotes) to the following number: 11113020.

AT&T has been trying hard over the past few weeks to keep iPhone users from switching to Verizon, offering customers a previous deal of a 20% off coupon for any accessory in an AT&T retail store.
