Neel Kashkari

Neel Kashkari is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, a position he has held since 2016. Previously, he served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Stability, overseeing the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) during the 2008 financial crisis. Kashkari is a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and is recognized for his outspoken positions on interest rates, inflation, and economic growth.
