Austan Goolsbee

Austan Goolsbee is an American economist and academic who currently serves as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, a role he assumed in 2023. He previously chaired the Council of Economic Advisers during the Obama administration and is a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Goolsbee is known for his expertise in macroeconomics, tax policy, and economic forecasting.
