Harvey has acquired Aida, an AI-focused sales execution software company, as the legal technology startup expands its push into enterprise knowledge management and tools designed to help AI systems better understand how organizations operate.
The acquisition brings Aida co-founders Piyush Prahladka and Atish Das Sarma, along with engineering talent specializing in search and machine learning, into Harvey’s product and engineering teams, the company announced in a blog post.
The deal comes as Harvey looks to help businesses organize internal information into structured knowledge systems, known as ontologies, that AI agents and models can use to better understand company-specific workflows and context.
Harvey said organizations that can structure and refine their internal knowledge will be better positioned to deploy AI tools across their operations. The company sees Aida’s expertise in connecting information across fragmented systems as a way to advance that effort.
“Legal teams have decades of valuable knowledge locked away in documents and systems that are difficult to search and connect. Unlocking that knowledge securely will fundamentally change how they work. Piyush and Atish have deep expertise in solving this challenge, and their team will help us make Harvey even more powerful for our customers,” Harvey CEO Winston Weinberg said in the announcement.
Prahladka said Aida was founded around the idea that AI could understand how people work and connect information spread across different enterprise systems.
“We founded Aida because we believed AI could understand the context of people’s work, connect information across fragmented systems, and turn that knowledge into action,” Prahladka said.
“Joining Harvey gives us the opportunity to bring that vision to one of the world’s most knowledge-intensive professions at a global scale,” he added.
Harvey’s Acquisition Spree In 2026
Harvey announced the deal in a blog post, describing it as its fifth acquisition of 2026.
The startup began its acquisition spree in January with the purchase of Hexus, an AI product demonstration company backed by Pear VC and Liquid 2 Ventures. The Hexus team, which included former Google and X engineers, joined Harvey to help accelerate product development for in-house legal departments.
In March, Harvey acquired Lume, an AI-powered customer integration platform backed by Y Combinator, Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst. Lume’s technology helps automate data integrations across enterprise systems, while its founders joined Harvey’s product and engineering organizations.
The company followed those purchases with its July acquisition of Benchmark, a New York-based decision infrastructure platform for asset managers. Harvey said the acquisition would expand its asset management business, which already serves firms including Blue Owl Capital, Bridgewater Associates and KKR.
In September, Harvey acquired Guardrails AI, a security platform that helps companies test, monitor and manage the behavior of AI agents. The deal was aimed at strengthening the reliability and safety of Harvey’s own AI agents as they take on increasingly complex legal work.
