CLEO Gives Traders The Tools To Write Trading Algorithms

What does your company do? What unique problem does it solve?

Kevin Grulich, CEO: We aim to be Ultimate Trading Hub for retail traders, starting with tools that make creating and analyzing of trading systems extremely simple. Biggest value we bring is in tool called Build, which allows retail traders create trading algorithms in plain English – no coding skills needed. And since there is tens of millions traders worldwide and vast majority of them does not know how to code their own algorithmic trading systems, yet all of them could benefit from automation of at least parts of their strategy, we believe there is a huge potential in solving this need for them.

Who are your customers?

Grulich: Mainly retail and proprietary traders on financial markets, but the tool is so easy to use, even non-traders can get started with automated trading with it.

How long have you been in business?

Grulich: Our product is currently in early beta stage, but it is publicly available from March 1st, 2018. We expect full product rollout in June this year.

Where are you located?

Grulich: We are located in Prague, Czech Republic.

Who is your company's leadership? What kind of experience do they have?

Grulich:I am a former trader of 7 years, have MBA in Investment Management and  am now finishing a master’s degree in Corporate Finance. My cofounder Martin has 6 years of experience in real-estate business and we have been lucky enough to be joined by top people in their respective fields.

Who are your investors, if any?

Grulich: We bootstrapped it as far as we could and right now we are finishing our $1M seed round with Czech angel investors on board.
