- Comtech Telecomm. Corp. (NASDAQ:CMTL) shares climbed 11.5 percent to $16.73. Comtech posted Q3 net income of $4.4 million on revenue of $127.8 million. The company also lowered its FY17 outlook.
- Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE:JWN) shares climbed 10.7 percent to $44.82 following news that management is exploring a go-private deal.
- Vista Outdoor Inc (NYSE:VSTO) surged 9.4 percent to $23.14. DA Davidson upgraded Vista Outdoor from Neutral to Buy.
- Valeant Pharmaceuticals Intl Inc (NYSE:VRX) climbed 8.7 percent to $13.23 after the company agreed to sell iNova Pharma for $930 million.
- Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (NYSE:BABA) shares gained 8.6 percent to $136.49 after issuing a strong revenue forecast for FY18. The company’s CFO Maggie Wu drew expects 45 percent to 49 percent revenue growth in FY2018.
- SciClone Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:SCLN) shares rose 8 percent to $10.90 after the company agreed to be acquired by GL Capital for $11.18 per share in cash.
- Endo International plc (NASDAQ:ENDP) shares climbed 8 percent to $13.39. Endo reported entry of significant case management order in Mesh Multidistrict litigation.
- Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) gained 6.5 percent to $53.81 after strong revenue forecast from Alibaba.
- Boot Barn Holdings Inc (NYSE:BOOT) shares rose 5.9 percent to $6.50.
- Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:INO) gained 4.9 percent to $7.75. Inovio Pharma announced plans to begin recruiting for Phase 3 trial.
- Kite Pharma Inc (NASDAQ:KITE) gained 3.6 percent to $85.02. BTIG Research upgraded Kite Pharma from Neutral to Buy.
- NBT Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ:NBTB) climbed 3.4 percent to $37.67. Piper Jaffray upgraded NBT Bancorp from Underweight to Neutral.
- Okta Inc (NASDAQ:OKTA) gained 3.3 percent to $26.54 after reporting upbeat quarterly results.
- The Carlyle Group LP (NASDAQ:CG) rose 3.2 percent to $18.00. Bank of America upgraded Carlyle Group from Neutral to Buy.
