USD/CAD is trading at 1.3492, up 0.0063. The pair is trading choppy and a little under the session highs. Market talk about global money flows and headline news is making the rounds. Statistics Canada reported that October retail sales rose 1.1 percent versus a rise of 0.8 percent in September. Year over year Canadian retail sales rose 3.8 percent during October after showing a rise of 2.5 percent in September.
