The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.89, down 0.10.The U.S. Dollar Index is trading just above the session lows. Market talk about global headline news and U.S. economic data is making the rounds. The Federal Reserve report reported that Industrial production rose 0.1 percent on the month in September versus a 0.5 percent decline in August. Year over year industrial production was down 1.0 percent versus a 1.1 percent decline in August. Capacity utilization edged up to 75.4 percent from 75.3 percent.
