The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.03, down 0.29. The U.S. dollar index is trading choppy and just above the session lows. Market chatter about U.S. economic data ahead of Wednesday's Federal Reserve policy decision is ongoing. Markit's July services PMI (purchasing managers survey) eased to 50.9 from 51.4 in June. The composite rose to 51.4 versus 51.2.
