Canadian June Employment was down 6,400 vs a rise in May of 58,900. The June unemployment rate was at 6.8%. Full-time employment was up 64,800 and part-time was down -71,200. Private sector employment was down 26,300. The participation rate for June came in at 65.8% vs 65.9% in May. Market chatter about global headline news is ongoing.
