US Stock Futures Up Ahead Of Jobless Claims

Data on weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while the U.S. Treasury monthly budget report for October will be released at 2:00 p.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 40 points to 17,617.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures rose 5.10 points to 2,041.00. Industrial output in China increased 7.7% y/y in October, while housing sales declined 9.9% for the first 10 months of the year.
