Bunge Global SA (NYSE:BG) said the combined Bunge and Viterra business following the close of the proposed transaction will have Viterra CEO David Mattiske as Co-Chief Operating Officer (COO) along with Julio Garros, Bunge’s Co-President, Agribusiness.

The co-COOs will oversee the commercial activities, including commodity value chains, country/regional structures, Centers of Expertise and Industrial Operations & Safety.

As previously announced, the combined company will be led by Greg Heckman, Bunge’s Chief Executive Officer and John Neppl, Bunge’s Chief Financial Officer.

Also, Kellie Sears will be the Chief Human Resources Officer, Joe Podwika will be the Chief Legal Officer, and Debra King will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer.

These leadership appointments will be effective once the transaction closes, which is anticipated to occur in mid-2024.

“The future combined company will expand its reach into more crops and countries, offering farmers greater market access and differentiated, value-added solutions in all key origins,” said Bunge’s CEO Greg Heckman.

“Food, feed & fuel customers will benefit from a broader product portfolio and expanded global supply options.”

Price Action: BG shares traded lower by 0.63% at $103.28 on Tuesday.
