After multiple production delays and years of anticipation, Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) fans are finally starting to see Cybertrucks on the road. There’s been a huge uptick of users sharing photos of Cybertrucks that they see on the road or ‘in the wild’ on X.com, formerly Twitter.
But, while some people are pumped up about the Cybertruck sightings, others are blasting Tesla for the design. Here’s what some X.com users are saying about the metal, sharp-looking (sharp in a literal sense) truck:
Ugly or Cool? “Might be the ugliest vehicle I’ve ever seen,” Stephen Geiger a fixed-income specialist at Nomura said.

“The cybertruck looks so wrong,” @Tolstoybb an anonymous trader and investor on X.com said. “The back looks bloated and it looks mishapen all around. What happened?”
Elon Musk admitted back in 2021 that there’s always a chance the Cybertruck fails because of how different it is from anything else on the road. Here’s what he had to say about the Cybertruck back when Twitter was still Twitter:
To be frank, there is always some chance that Cybertruck will flop, because it is so unlike anything else,” Musk tweeted. "I don’t care. I love it so much even if others don’t."
Other trucks look like copies of the same thing, but Cybertruck looks like it was made by aliens from the future.”
When Is The Cybertruck Coming Out: Musk recently confirmed that a delivery event will be held for the Cybertruck later this year, but an exact release date is not official. He said the company expects to sell 250,000-500,000 Cybertrucks a year once production is in full swing.
