In a report published Wednesday, Goldman Sachs analyst Taposh Bari reiterated a Sell rating on Children's Place Retail Stores (NASDAQ: PLCE), but slightly lowered the price target from $40.00 to $39.00.In the report, Bari noted, “PLCE reported 4Q12 EPS of $1.15, ahead of consensus/GS at $1.04. A relatively in-line 4Q is offset by disappointing 1Q13 and 2013 EPS guidance. The weak start to the quarter reinforces our belief that PLCE is disproportionately vulnerable to various factors – this time weather. While the pillars of PLCE's turnaround story have merit individually, the likelihood of all coinciding with an accommodative macro environment appears very low, in our opinion.”Children's Place Retail Stores closed on Tuesday at $44.51.
