Boeing Co (NYSE:BA) is reportedly in the lead to receive an order from Indian carrier IndiGo for roughly 25 wide-body aircraft.
IndiGo is in talks to buy Boeing's 787 family of twin-aisle aircraft, which has been pitted against Airbus SE (OTC:EADSY) A330neo jets. However, a decision has yet to be finalized, reported Reuters, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Recently, IndiGo placed an order for 500 Airbus narrow-body jets.
