Goldman Sachs downgraded Norfolk Southern Corporation (NYSE: NSC) from Buy to Neutral with a $69 price target. Goldman Sachs noted, "We downgrade NSC from Buy to Neutral as we are more positive on other stocks within our coverage universe, which have greater upside potential to mid-cycle valuations. NSC stock remains attractively valued, but we expect near-term earnings pressure from coal to persist in 1H13 and hamper share performance. We expect operating income to grow to just 2% yoy in 2013 as soft coal traffic and negative mix will likely lead to EBIT contraction in 1H13."Norfolk Southern closed at $15.65 on Wednesday.
