) stage. The next stage is Design Validation Test (DVT), which is often the precursor to launch. While many expect this version of the iPhone to go to Verizon, it may still yet go to cell phone carriers such as Sprint, US Cellular, or perhaps it is being prepped to be shipped abroad. With over 90 million subscribers, Verizon is the largest CDMA network and is generally thought to be the frontrunner for the phone.
