Murphy On Prescription Drugs Before She Died

Brittany Murphy was taking prescription drugs for flu-like symptoms for several days before her fatal heart attack.

According to sources, Murphy had told her family that she was feeling ill and began vomiting early Sunday morning. Murphy was found collapsed in the shower. Authorities did not find any illegal drugs in her home but there were many prescription drugs written for her husband Simon Monjack and her mother.

It is speculated that her condition and the medicines could have triggered a heart attack but only an autopsy can settle that. Though husband Monjack has stated that he doesn’t want an autopsy performed, it will be the coroner’s call.
