On Wednesday, the Vetr crowd upgraded their rating for American International Group Inc (NYSE:AIG) from 3.5 stars (Buy), issued 12 days ago, to 5 stars (Strong Buy). Crowd sentiment at the time of the upgrade was generally positive, with 66 percent of Vetr user ratings bullish.
AIG has been in an overall downtrend for more than a month. Shares plummeted more than $6 after the life insurance company reported below estimates on EPS, $0.84 compared to $1.01, and came in only slightly above its estimated revenue, $13.01 billion $12.87 billion.
