April lean hogs are trading at 68.40, down 0.02 cents/lb. June lean hogs are trading at 77.25, down 0.10 cents/lb Lean hog futures are trading rangebound. Talk about cash prices, trade policy and hog supplies ahead is making the rounds is making the rounds. Thursday's USDA hog slaughter was 441,000 head versus 430,000 head a year ago. The total hog slaughter for the week is now 1,327,000 head versus 1,300,000 head a year ago.
