Chatter about global corn supplies and the season ahead in the U.S. is making the rounds. The USDA is scheduled to release updated corn acreage estimates Thursday at the USDA Outlook forum. The agency baseline projections are showing U.S. corn acres for the upcoming season at 90.0 million acres. The USDA reported on Tuesday that corn export inspections as of February 16th are now 43.2 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 40 percent.
