- Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:CDTI) shares surged 32.8 percent to $2.63 after the company disclosed that it has partnered with DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. to provide its technology to the North American heavy-duty market.
- Civeo Corporation (Canada) (NYSE:CVEO) shares gained 26 percent to $3.49. Civeo shares have climbed 219.49 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 21.47 percent in the same period.

- Cree, Inc. (NASDAQ:CREE) climbed 12.6 percent to $30.86 as the company reported stronger-than-expected results for its second quarter on Tuesday.

- Organovo Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:ONVO) shares rose 6.9 percent to $3.73. Raymond James initiated coverage of Organovo with an Outperform rating.
- Gogo Inc (NASDAQ:GOGO) gained 6.4 percent to $9.27. Guggenheim initiated coverage of Gogo with a Buy rating.
- Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ:WDC) gained 5.5 percent to $34.09. Western Digital is expected to release quarterly earnings after the closing bell.
- Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:OREX) gained 3.9 percent to $3.51 as the company reported the launch of Mysimba in Spain.
- American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) rose 2.7 percent to $15.39. Telsey Advisory Group upgraded American Eagle from Market Perform to Outperform.
- Mimecast Ltd (NASDAQ:MIME) rose 2.6 percent to $22.38. Brean Capital initiated coverage on Mimecast with a Buy rating.
- Alcoa Corp (NYSE:AA) shares rose 2 percent to $38.18. Alcoa reported weaker-than-expected earnings for its fourth quarter, but sales exceeded expectations.
