December New York Cocoa is trading at 2834, down 11 $/MT. March New York Cocoa is trading at 2806, down 11 $/MT. New York cocoa futures are trading rangebound. Market chatter about weather for Ivory Coast growing areas and global currency values is constant. Some chatter is showing up that Ivory Coast cocoa producers sent 24,000 tonnes of cocoa to port during September 19th to September 25th versus 3,000 tonnes a year ago. Trading is expected to remain choppy, some talk about positioning ahead of the month end is making the rounds.
