  • WCI Communities Inc (NYSE: WCIC) surged 40.2 percent to $24.05. The volume of WCI Communities shares traded was 5628 percent higher than normal. Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN) announced plans to buy WCI Communities for $23.50 per share in cash and stock.
  • Shutterfly, Inc. (NASDAQ: SFLY) shares moved up 2.8 percent to $45.42. The volume of Shutterfly traded was 668 percent higher than normal. Axiom’s Victor Anthony maintained a Hold rating on Shutterfly, with a price target of $52.
  • Red Hat Inc (NYSE: RHT) shares gained 5 percent to $80.89. The volume of Red Hat shares traded was 620 percent higher than normal. Red Hat posted upbeat results for its second quarter and raised its FY16 outlook.
  • Collegium Pharmaceutical Inc (NASDAQ: COLL) shares rose 16.6 percent to $14.95. The volume of Collegium Pharmaceutical shares traded was 535 percent higher than normal. Collegium Pharmaceutical shares have dropped 40.12 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 11.34 percent in the same period.
