  • Asterias Biotherapeutics Inc (NYSE: AST) shares rose 14.4 percent to $4.21 in pre-market trading after the company reported positive efficacy data in patients with complete cervical spinal cord injuries treated with AST-OPC1.
  • Sarepta Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: SRPT) shares rose 12.9 percent to $28.89 in pre-market trading. following news that Dr. Ron Farkas has left the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, people familiar with the matter told Benzinga. Oppenheimer believes that Farkas departure from the FDA is a positive signal for Eteplirsen approval.
  • At Home Group Inc. (NASDAQ: HOME) rose 9.6 percent to $13.64 in pre-market trading. At Home Group reported Q2 earnings of $0.13 per share on sales of $188.4 million. The company expects FY17 earnings of $0.53 to $0.56 per share on revenue of $738 million to $750 million. Guggenheim Securities upgraded At Home Group from Neutral to Buy.
  • Array Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ: ARRY) rose 6.6 percent to $3.73 in pre-market trading after the company reported a Phase 3 BEACON CRC Special Protocol Assessment agreement with the FDA.
  • Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU) rose 6.2 percent to $2.41 in the pre-market trading after the company reported the purchase of Poke Radar for $500,000.
  • Exelixis, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXEL) rose 4.1 percent to $12.81 in the pre-market trading session after the company disclosed that the EC has approved CABOMETYX tablets for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma following VEGF-targeted therapy.
  • Zebra Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: ZBRA) shares rose 2.8 percent to $68.00 in pre-market trading after Extreme Networks (NASDAQ: EXTR) reported a deal to purchase Zebra's wireless LAN business in an all-cash $55 million deal.
  • Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) shares rose 2.6 percent to $61.40 in pre-market trading following Carl Icahn comments at the Delivering Alpha conference Tuesday afternoon.
