December New York Cotton is trading at 66.87, down 0.08 cents/lb. March New York Cotton is trading at 67.35, down 0.08 cents/lb. Cotton futures are trading steady. The weekly cotton crop condition report showed 48 percent of the U.S. cotton crop was rated good to excellent versus 47 percent a week ago and 54 percent a year ago. The ten year average at this time of year is 47 percent.16 percent of the cotton crop was rated poor to very poor versus 18 percent a week ago and 11 percent a year ago. The ten year average at this time of year is 22 percent.
