  • Sequenom, Inc. (NASDAQ: SQNM) shares climbed 178.6 percent to $2.37 as the company agreed to be acquired by Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings (NYSE: LH) for $2.40 per share in cash.
  • Medigus Ltd. (NASDAQ: MDGS) shares jumped 65 percent to $2.21 after the company reported that it has received its first purchase order from Johns Hopkins Hospital for its MUSE™ system.
  • Dataram Corp (NASDAQ: DRAM) shares rose 34.1 percent to $2.32 after the company reported that it has regained compliance with the the NASDAQ minimum bid price rule.
  • Psychemedics Corp. (NASDAQ: PMD) surged 32.6 percent to $18.41. Psychemedics reported Q2 earnings of $0.30 per share on revenue of $9.7 million.
  • Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) rose 28.3 percent to $10.20. Unisys reported Q2 earnings of $0.81 per share on revenue of $748.9 million.
  • Recro Pharma Inc (NASDAQ: REPH) shares gained 22.4 percent to $9.40 after the company reported top-line results from the Phase III trial of IV meloxicam. The company announced that the trial has met its primary endpoint.
  • LogMeIn Inc (NASDAQ: LOGM) gained 20.3 percent to $83.86 after the company confirmed a deal to merge with Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS)'s GoTo business. LogMeIn also reported better-than-expected quarterly results.
  • Dixie Group Inc (NASDAQ: DXYN) shares rose 20.2 percent to $4.05. Dixie Group posted Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.12 per share on revenue of $105.3 million.
  • Mastech Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MHH) climbed 17.2 percent to $7.50. Mastech Holdings reported Q2 earnings of $0.25 per share on revenue of $33.6 million.
  • Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDTI) shares gained 14.3 percent to $3.83. Clean Diesel Technologies reported that it will announce its Q2 financial results on August 15, 2016.
  • EPIQ Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EPIQ) shares rose 13.5 percent to $16.37. Epiq Systems, struck a definitive deal to be purchased by OMERS Private Equity, the private equity division of the OMERS pension plan, and funds managed by Harvest Partners, LP, for $16.50 per share in cash.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings (NASDAQ: BWLD) shares climbed 13.3 percent to $166.52 after the company posted better-than-expected earnings for its second quarter.
  • BIND Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: BIND) shares surged 12.8 percent to $1.05 after Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) announced plans to buy substantially all of BIND’s assets.
  • Garmin Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN) gained 11.7 percent to $51.81 after the company reported upbeat quarterly results and raised its FY16 outlook.
  • United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) gained 10 percent to $25.25 after the company posted a narrower-than-expected quarterly loss.
  • Entegris Inc (NASDAQ: ENTG) shares rose 10 percent to $16.75. Entegris reported better-than-expected Q2 results.
  • Edwards Lifesciences Corp (NYSE: EW) surged 6.5 percent to $115.36 after the company posted upbeat quarterly results.
  • Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares surged 6.5 percent to $102.94 after the company reported stronger-than-expected results for its fiscal third quarter on Tuesday.
