August live cattle is trading at 109.90, up 2.40 cents/lb. October live cattle is trading at 108.12 ,up 2.42 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 109.12, up 1.85 cents/lb. August lean hogs are trading at 75.25, up 0.80 cents/lb. October lean hogs are trading at 63.77, up 1.50 cents /lb. December lean hogs are trading at 58.37, up 1.92 cents/lb. Live Cattle and lean hog futures have moved up in rapid fashion. Trading is very choppy ahead of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) monthly cattle on feed and cold storage reports due out after the close of trading at 3:00 p.m. ET.
