(NASDAQ: LILA) surged 3.54 percent to $41.48. The volume of Liberty Global shares traded was 1065 percent higher than normal. On Monday, Liberty Global reported that it has completed its acquisition of Cable & Wireless Communications Plc.
Childrens Place Inc (NASDAQ: PLCE) shares climbed 4.95 percent to $71.61. The volume of Childrens Place shares traded was 500 percent higher than normal. Childrens Place reported better-than-expected financial results for the first quarter and lifted its earnings forecast for the current year.
Agilent Technologies Inc (NYSE: A) shares moved up 3.56 percent to $44.47. The volume of Agilent traded was 331 percent higher than normal. Agilent reported better-than-expected results for its second quarter and raised its outlook for FY16.
Pandora Media Inc (NYSE: P) shares rose 6.61 percent to $10.64. The volume of Pandora shares traded was 243 percent higher than normal. Pandora has received an investor letter from Corvex Management that calls for the board to "explore the sales process."
