  • Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN), up 15.83 percent
  • Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE: FCX), up 13.09 percent

The top losers in the index were:

  • Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK), down 10.39 percent
  • Mosaic Co (NYSE: MOS), down 7.47 percent

The Dow Jones Industrial Index surged 2.02 percent on Friday trading.

  • JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), up 8.37 percent
  • Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE: GS), up 3.98 percent

There were no losers in the Dow on Friday. The smallest rise was the one seen at Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ), which was up only 0.12 percent

The Nasdaq 100 Index rose 1.22 percent on Friday trading.

The top gainers in the index were:

  • Baidu Inc (ADR) (NASDAQ: BIDU), up 8.16 percent
  • Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFM), up 5.95 percent

The top losers in the index were:

  • Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI), down 7.86 percent
  • Tripadvisor Inc (NASDAQ: TRIP), down 1.92 percent
