The top performer in this industry was Endeavour Silver Corp (NYSE: EXK), which rose 13 percent. Silver futures rose 1.06 percent to $14.59 an ounce. Copper: The industry gained 2.1 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE: FCX), which gained 6.9 percent. Carl Icahn reported a 8.46 percent stake in Freeport-McMoRan on Thursday. Semiconductor- Memory Chips: This industry rose 1.5 percent by 10:30 am ET. The top performer in this industry was Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ: NLST), which gained 8 percent. Netlist shares have dropped 67.83 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has declined 0.78 percent in the same period. Nonmetallic Mineral Mining: This industry jumped 1.4 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Hallador Energy Co(NASDAQ: HNRG), which rose 5 percent.
