In a note rolled out Thursday, Probes Reporter analysts look into a few companies that show signs of recent SEC investigative activity. In this article we will take a look at some of these companies and what is going on with them.

Continental Resources

Continental Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CLR) might be facing an undisclosed SEC investigation. In fact, a letter dated June 23 suggested the E&P company was “involved in unspecified SEC investigative activity.” However, no disclosure has been found as of this date. The firm recommends keeping an eye on this company.

Delek US Holdings

Delek US Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DK), for its part, is facing an on-going investigation that could have “lasting accounting implications,” the report assures. The firm expresses its concern regarding the lack of updates from the management since the 10-K filed back in February. However, in a letter to Probes Reporter on August 3, “the SEC confirmed Delek’s involvement in on-going enforcement proceedings.”

Rockwell Collins & World Acceptance Corp.

Rockwell Collins, Inc. (NYSE: COL) is another company that could be facing unspecified SEC investigative activity. The firm advises keeping track of the development of the issue.

World Acceptance Corp. (NASDAQ: WRLD) is in a situation that’s quite similar to Rockwell Collins’. So, investors should keep an eye on this company as well.

Removed From The Watch List

A few companies that were previously included in Probes Reporter’s watch list were recently removed. Based on new information from the SEC, General Electric Company (NYSE: GE), Kansas City Southern (NYSE: KSU) andMarsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC) were subtracted from the list, as investigative activity seems to be over.

Finally, probes at Target Corporation (NYSE: TGT) now appear to have ended, but the analysts still recommend some inquiry.
