CVS Health Corp (NYSE: CVS) announced its plans to buy Omnicare for about $12.7 billion.
Youku Tudou Inc (ADR) (NYSE: YOKU) surged 14.25 percent to $26.30. The volume of Youku Tudou shares traded 431 percent higher than normal. Youku reported a Q1 loss of $0.40 per share on non-GAAP sales of $170.4 million. Brean Capital maintained Buy rating on Youku Tudou and raised the price target from $20 to $26.
Kirkland's, Inc. (NASDAQ: KIRK) shares moved up 11.38 percent to $28.00. The volume of Kirkland's traded was 392 percent higher than normal. Kirkland's reported stronger-than-expected earnings for the fiscal first quarter on Thursday.
Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE: BBY) shares rose 5.60 percent to $35.67. The volume of Best Buy shares traded was 348 percent higher than normal. Best Buy reported better-than-expected results for the first quarter on Thursday.
