Data on weekly jobless claims will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while consumer credit data for March will be released at 3:00 p.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 78 points to 17,700.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 9.30 points to 2,064.95. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index declined 19.70 points to 4,353.30.
