Ballard Power Systems Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ: BLDP) shares surged 4.42 percent to $2.36 after the company signed a deal to supply next-generation fuel cell power product for eight buses in China.
HCA Holdings Inc (NYSE: HCA) shares rose 2.56 percent to $79.32 after the company lifted its FY15 outlook.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) shares gained 2.03 percent to $32.13 after the company reported in-line earnings for its first quarter on Tuesday. Analysts at RBC Capital upgraded Intel from Sector Perform to Outperform and raised the price target from $38 to $40.
