Soybean futures traded mostly higher Wednesday. Market talk about weather, acreage and Southern Hemisphere supply concerns helped bring buyers in during an active trading session. May Soybeans settled at 989 3/4, up 16 1/2 cents. July Soybeans settled at 994 1/2, up 16 3/4 cents. November Soybeans settled at 973 3/4, up 17 1/2 cents. May Soymeal settled at 331.9, up 5.1. May Soybean Oil settled at 30.91, up 0.29.Thursday's trading session is expected to be choppy with pre-holiday trading occurring. Grain futures markets are closed on Friday for an exchange holiday.
