The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 0.84% to 2,057.35.The worst performing industries in the market today are: Computers Wholesale: This industry tumbled 1.3% by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), which fell 3.1%. Ingram Micro's trailing-twelve-month profit margin is 0.57%. Semiconductor- Memory Chips: This industry fell 1.1% by 11:00 am ET. Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS) shares dropped 0.4% in today's trading. Rambus shares have jumped 26.56% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 10.50% in the same period. Diversified Computer Systems: This industry declined 1% by 11:00 am with Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ) moving down 1%. Barclays downgraded Hewlett-Packard from Overweight to Equal-weight and lowered the price target from $42 to $35. Semiconductor - Broad Line: The industry dropped 0.8% by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC), which declined 4.1%. Intel lowered its Q1 sales outlook to $12.5 billion to $13.1 billion.
